We are here to support Dental Practices with Temp Cover (Short-term or long term)
Our role is to reduce the impact of cancelled clinics, unhappy patients and staff and ultimately a loss of income.

We ensure all our Dental Nurses are registered with the GDC and hold Indemnity Insurance. Our Team all have a minimum of 2 years dental nursing experience. We have a number of Nurses who have Specialist Training too! (MOS, Sedation, Ortho, Endo, Implant and Perio)
All our Dental Nurses are screened for Recruitment to ensure Right to Work within the UK. All nurses enrolled onto Dentico Dental Agency have completed a robust Interview Checklist and have successfully demonstrated their ability to set up for procedures, knowledge of core equipment and materials and know HTM-01-05.
We have a helpful team of dental receptionists proficient in use with Microsoft Packages, Financial Management Systems and core Dental Software Systems (Such as SOE (EXACT), R4 Kodak, Dentally and Orthotrac.
Our minimum requirement is 2 years of dental receptionist experience and all our receptionists have received refresher customer service training.
All receptionists hold a valid DBS check and are competent in the English Language and Core Mathematics.
We have a range of Dental Hygienists and Therapists (Self-employed) enrolled with the Agency who can be available at short notice to cover Locum Hygiene Clinics.
All our DCPs are GDC registered in Dental Hygiene and/or Therapy and have Indemnity Insurance. We also complete DBS checks and ensure Right to Work documentation is available.
Our Hygienists vary in experience and Hourly Rates of Pay giving you the opportunity to choose your Locum. All Hygienists have a minimum of 1 years experience (working as a Hygienist) and many can cater to lone working if required.
Our Dentists are all GDC registered and Indemnified and have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the UK!
Many of our dentists have an Active Performer Number to help those practices who require additional support for UDAs or to cover an absent dentist! Day rates vary per dentist and we ensure all their CPD is up to date!

How does Locum Bookings Work?
Making an Enquiry
You can contact via any of our contact details displayed on
our website to inquire.
We will send you a Registration Form if its your first time!
Tell us what locum service you
require, required dates and hours and we will get back to you!
Confirming the Booking
We will contact our Locum team and get back to you as soon as possible to confirm your booking!
We will send you an Email Confirmation with all the details. Locum staff can be provided with information for a smoother booking!
On Arrival and Departure
Our locum staff will arrive with their Clinical Uniform to change into, a Dentico Name Badge and ID.
All company policies will be followed during their service and paperwork required.
A timesheet will be provided at the end of each booking to verify working hours
Invoicing & Payment terms
The Timesheet provided by the Locum signed by yourselves will be reflected in your Invoice to confirm accurate booking hours.
Our Finance Team at Dentico will send an Invoice within 48 hours for payment to be made.
